Brown Trout Fishing Charters on Lake Ontario start on April 15 and run until the first part of June, then we start sliding off shore and follow the bait and fish until the thermocline sets up.

Salmon Fishing Charters on Lake Ontario start around the end of June and runs until the end of September.

Spring Brown Trout Sport Fishing Charters on Lake Ontario

April & May is the best time for fishing Football Browns in Mexico Bay, Lake Ontario.  We start the season by trolling along the shoreline with planer boards, looking for warm water pockets.  I love this time of year, after a long winter. Nothing cures cabin fever like fighting these monster game fish on light tackle with all new top of the line rods and reels.

Most often we're running 10 rods so multiple hookups are common, including doubles and triples. Let's not forget the wall hanger bonus fish. Last year we saw a bunch of Atlantic Salmon, some nice Coho Salmon, some big Lake Trout, and trophy size Walleyes.  Last year on one single six hour charter, we saw 4 big fish headed to the taxidermist, a 11 lb & 13 lb brown, a 11 lb lake trout, and a very large 9 lb walleye. 

On my lake Ontario charters, all tackle is included, in fact, I have tons of tackle.  Lots of my lures are custom painted, after 24 years, I know what it takes to put these fish on the line for you.  Check out my spring brown trout video on the media/gallery page. Salmon Sport Fishing Charters on Lake Ontario Some of the finest Salmon sport fishing in the world can be found in Lake Ontario. In August lasy year, we caught over 60 Salmon in only 3 days of fishing. Most of these fish are huge and fight like a bull. I have personally witnessed them strip 400, 500, even 600 feet of line on a single run. I've spent over 24 years catching these monsters and I still get excited watching someone catch their first Salmon, and by the way, don't worry if you've never fished before. We take many people fishing that have little or no experience. My new 27 foot Sportcraft is loaded with the latest in gear, tackle and electronics, and is very roomy.
